Ana Morales - Sister Survivor Story

In October 2024, my world shifted.

I was diagnosed with two different types of breast cancer—HER2-Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer in my right breast and DCIS in my left. Two diagnoses, one body, and an unshakable will to fight.

Just weeks later, I began chemotherapy. From November 2024 through March 2025, I pushed through treatment one day at a time. In March, I underwent a lumpectomy—another step forward on a path I never expected to walk.

In April, I began infusions every three weeks, and by mid-May, I started radiation treatments. I completed radiation during the first week of July, each appointment serving as a reminder of how far I had come.

My journey continues.

On August 20, 2025, I will undergo surgery to remove my ovaries—another difficult but necessary decision. I will also continue treatments into early 2026, moving forward with hope leading the way.

This journey has been filled with fear, pain, strength, and grace. I've cried, I've fought, and I've risen.

Cancer entered my life uninvited, but it has not taken my spirit.

Today, I am still standing—stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever.

My story isn't over yet.

And neither is my hope.
